A double room is available from 7th December in our all female flatshare in Dalston.
THE ROOM
Spacious double room at basement level with a window looking out onto a quiet side street. The room comes unfurnished but the current flatmate will be leaving a clothes rail, Ikea MALM chest of drawers and matching bedside table. You will need to provide your own bed. There is also more than enough room for a desk.
THE FLAT
Spacious basement flat with 3 bedrooms. Huge hall that runs the length of the flat that we also use for desk space, additional cupboards, shoes, bikes etc. The selling point of the flat though really is the living/dining room - definitely bigger than the average flat and with patio doors out to a big private garden. More than enough space for us all to comfortably hang out watching TV or have friends round, and the garden has a large patio with potted plants and BBQ. Right in the heart of Dalston and really well connected - less than a 10min walk to Dalston Junction, Dalston Kingsland and Hackney Downs overground stations, and loads of useful bus routes right on our doorstep as well.
THE FLATMATES
You will be living with 2 professional females, both working full time. Madeleine (32) works in policy and Lucy (30) works in TV/film production. Madeleine goes to the office roughly once a week but mostly works from home, whilst Lucy is roughly the opposite. We are ideally looking for a long term let as we are very much looking for a flatmate who wants to hang out and be friends with us, enjoy nights on the sofa watching trash TV & documentaries, trips to the pub, the occasional shared meal - that sort of thing! We have also made great use of the garden this summer and brought our friends together for a few BBQ parties, which have been really nice. We are pretty busy and have our own lives, so we aren’t living in each other’s pockets but we really like the relaxed and friendly vibe we have in the flat and are looking for someone who will fit in well with that.
THE DETAILS
Room is available from 7th December.
Rent is £925 pcm, paid to the letting agency. Deposit is £891.67 and is paid directly to the departing tenant. An additional £50 admin fee needs to be paid to the agency to get your name added to the lease. The lease was renewed in August and will be up for renewal in 2 years (Aug 2026). Bills not included, but roughly amount to £150 pcm give or take. We also use Splitwise to share out other communal costs including any shared groceries & cleaning products etc.
