THE HOUSE
This is a 4-bedroom terraced house, with a bright lounge, separate kitchen, garden, basement for storage, full bathroom and a separate toilet. Our landlord is very good and responsive, and we've had no problems with them in five years living here.

The street is also a great place to live with lots of friendly neighbours - we’ve all got free furniture, jam, homegrown fruit and a safe place for parcels. We’re near plenty of pubs, restaurants, cafes, parks, cinemas and 15-min walk to the canal.

Nearest station is Dalston Kingsland which is a 10-min walk.

THE ROOM
The room is on the first floor. It's the smallest of the four bedrooms, but easily fits a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and some other things. It's warm and very peaceful, and faces the garden. It comes unfurnished, but the landlord can provide basic furniture (bed, wardrobe etc.) if needed.

THE HOUSEMATES
You will be sharing it with 3 others in their early 30s: Rabia, Emma and Gianna, all very lovely. We love cats (the flatmate who is moving out is taking hers with her), so if you have one, it's more than welcome.

It’s a very easygoing house where you can be independent but we have started to frequent the local pub quiz…although still waiting for our first win.

THE COSTS
Costs per month:
- £815 pcm for the room
- approx.. £115-130 worth of bills (water, Internet, council tax, gas/electricity and a weekly cleaner)
- additional few pounds each month for shared stuff (toilet paper, kitchen condiments, cleaning products and so on - we all divide things equally).
- Deposit paid to the landlord: one month's rent (£815)
