My girlfriend and I are moving out of our room in this amazing flat we've been sharing with one of our best friends for the last six months.
5 minutes walk from Dalston Kingsland + Junction, this flat is the perfect mix of cosy and spacious. The main living area consists of a big living/dining room, a kitchen and a balcony, all aligned with one another to give an open feel with lots of natural light and a sociable vibe.
The bedroom is huge, with enough space around the bed for both us to work from home at our own desks.
The flat is cheap to heat and all the amenities work perfectly. The letting agents are professional and easy to deal with, and there's a repairman who comes immediately to fix anything that breaks. The council tax band is B. The rent for the room is £1100 pcm.
We're looking for someone to take over our tenancy as we're moving abroad in December. The current tenancy will expire in April 2025, but shorter lets can easily be discussed.
All the furnishings were added by us, meaning the living areas will be fully furnished, and we'll be happy to discuss leaving any furniture needed for the bedroom closer to the time.
The other flatmate is a 23-year-old artist and professional quiz host, my friend of over 10 years and easily one of the most charming and likeable people I've ever met (as well as extremely clean and straightforward to live with). `
