Looking for a friendly, down-to-earth flatmate to join our relaxed Dalston home — someone with a happy, easy-going nature who’ll quickly feel like part of the family.

🛏️ The Room

A spacious, bright double room, fully furnished with plenty of natural light. I’m flexible with furniture — items can be added, removed, or rearranged to suit you.

The room will be freshly painted before anyone moves in, and if you commit soon, you’re welcome to have a say in the colour.
Our current lodger will be moving out shortly — we’re hoping to have someone new in and settled before Christmas Day, and viewings are available now.

🏡 The House

You’ll have full access to the kitchen, living room, bathroom, and a large garden perfect for BBQs. The living room’s great for films or sports — and you’ll often have it to yourself, as I’m not home much. Shared bathroom but we also have another toilet just across from your room.

A cleaner visits twice a month, and my dad tidies the kitchen every morning, so the house always feels fresh and welcoming.

👥 About Us

You’ll be sharing with my retired dad and me — I’m a bus driver, often out working, but I love cooking and sharing meals when I’m around.
We’re easy-going, sociable, and treat the house like a home. Expect good food, friendly chats, and regular Sunday roasts you’re welcome to join.

🐱 Pets

We have two friendly cats, so you’ll need to be comfortable with pets.

🚆 Location

Just a 5-minute walk to Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland stations, with easy bus links to Liverpool Street, Angel, and the West End.

🍻 The Vibe

We’d love someone positive, tidy, and considerate, who values a warm, trustworthy, and relaxed household. We enjoy good food, music, chats in the garden, the occasional drink, and a homely, family-style atmosphere.
