Dalston New Building, Friendly Flat

A small double room is going in a cozy flat living with two lovely young-ish professionals. This is a family flat. We spend time together, and work together to keep it looking (and vibing) great at as one queer household. (You do not need to be queer, but we need to get along well.)

The flat is within 10-min walking distance from Dalston Junction and a 15-min walk to Dalston Kingsland and Hackney Downs. There are also easy bus connections to Kings X, Barbican, and Marylebone. It is within walking distance of amazing pubs, music event venues, London Fields, and Victoria Park. Facilities include concierge, secured basement bike storage, rooftop terrace, and so many lifts!

You will be sharing with two people:

(1) Dmitri, 32 (he/him) Hi! I'm Dmitri. I am a full-time PhD student and I work for charities. My background is in architecture, so I have keen interests in art and design for leisure. I am always up for an exhibition. That said, nowadays, I mostly focus on migration and security for research. I enjoy cooking, and sharing love is my love language. I am looking for someone happy, friendly, and respectful of sharing space.

(2) Ciaran, 28 (he/him) Daytime accountant and part-time organiser for Palestine. Moving in at the same time as you are. … (Losing words) Queer, with great hair. Super clean. Good cook, but not a baker.

Here is the boring bit - The rent is £936, and you will have to submit for referencing for the tenancy agreement. All bills and shared items for the flat works out to be about another £115. Move-in date as stated, but flexible.

We will be replying everyone by 02/03/2025, and arranging for viewings between 03/03/2025 and 14/03/2025. We will reply to everyone (fingers crossed!) and, in case you have moved on and found a place, please let us know.
