From 31/01/26 we have a room available in our lovely queer flat. Its situated right above Dalston Kingsland station (but is very well soundproofed/insulated). The flat is super modern and well-equipped. The current flatmates are made up of Alex (29) and Mika (27). One from Canada and one from Germany.
The rent is £1220 pm, bills around £140 (inc council tax Band E, electricity, internet etc) although less in summer. The deposit is £1288.
Location is amazing as it’s directly on top of Dalston Kingsland station and also super close to Dalston Junction. You’ll be right on the doorstep of tonnes of restaurants, bars and clubs. We also have 4 supermarkets around a 1-minute walk away to each.
Tenancy is a 12 month contract which was renewed on 01/06/25 and has breakout clauses available.
The flat is situated on the 9th floor and is accessible by 2 lifts and a staircase up to the property, there are no steps within the property. Unfortunately the landlord does not accept benefits.
The flat is warm and dry (even without the heating on), with a big balcony and patio heater. Also featuring: two bathrooms, a 1111 sq. foot open-plan kitchen/living space, intercom system and concierge service. The room comes with a double bed (which lifts up and has extra storage underneath), wardrobe x 2, desk and a spectacular view of North East London. You'd be sharing a large bathroom with one of us.
Mika - 27 - (he/him) Originally from Stuttgart, Germany. Enjoys cooking, books, socialising and holidaying. Works in Economic Consulting.
Alex - 29 - (he/him) Originally from Toronto, Canada. Enjoys socialising with pals, lots of eating out and going to bars/clubs. Works as a City Planner.
We’ve always had a good balance between personal space/hanging out - we all work hard and respect each others space. But we also enjoy chatting with each other and hosting the occasional flat party. This is very much a house where we support each other's wellbeing and hopefully we can find a similar queer person to join us!
