Looking for a new housemate to share a spacious, newly refurbished home as the current person is moving in with their partner. Room available from 20th September but can be flexible.
The room
It’s a newly refurbished, large double room that gets lots of light from big windows and has built-in wardrobes. Room comes furnished with a bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and a desk.
The property is a modern, newly refurbished two-storey maisonette with bedrooms upstairs and one shared bathroom (with shower cubicle and bath) and toilet. Downstairs is a large living and dining room with new carpets, kitchen with all the usual stuff (including washing machine and microwave), which looks out over a sunny patio garden.
About me
You’ll be living with me (I own the place) and two fluffy, friendly indoor cats. I’m friendly, creative, work full-time and on the weekends I like to watch films, explore London, go to galleries and shows. I’m clean, quiet and up for having dinner or watching a film together when we have time.
The area
We’re in a perfect location on the edge of three great areas: Dalston, Stoke Newington and Clapton. There are lots of cute cafes, pubs and bars in the area and it really has a community feel. There’s an independent bakery next door and 5 minutes away is the Londis supermarket which does ad-hoc gigs in the street.
It’s 1 minute walk from Rectory Road station which takes you to Liverpool Street station in 5 minutes or to Seven Sisters to pick up the Victoria Line.
Short walk to Clapton station for getting to Walthamstow and Tottenham.
Short walk from Dalston Kingsland, 15-minute walk to Dalston Junction.
Buses go to central London (and the night bus) and all surrounding areas.
It’s really well connected.
We’re close to Hackney Downs for running and there’s a swimming pool nearby.
