My wonderful housemates are going travelling and I’m looking for someone to sign onto a lease and move into a room in Newington Green from 1 October 2025. I’m looking for someone that is chill, has a busy life and is fun to be around. This would be a queer friendly household :)
The flat: It’s fully furnished with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a large kitchen and a lovely open plan lounge room & dining area.
The area: Newington Green is a charming little area with loads of nice restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs nearby. There is a Tesco Express just across the road from the flat. The closest overground is a 10 minute walk to either Canonbury or Dalston Kingsland station. Highbury and Islington (Victoria line) is the closest tube which is a 20min speed walk.
A bit about me: Minto – 32, strategy consultant, works in the office full time. I’m from Melbourne and have lived in the UK for 7 years.
Cost:
Rent - £1250 for single or £1400 for couples + bills (approx £120)
Deposit - £800
Move in date – 1 October 2025
