Description
***Need to confirm new flatmates ASAP so that the Landlord can run the checks they want to do so I'll be doing viewings in the next few days - must be available and please only message if you're very keen***
Had the worst luck with some drop outs when I used facebook so I'm posting here in the hope of finding more concrete leads!
Hey - Unfortunately my 2 lovely flatmates are either moving back to their home country or moving in with their boyfriend so they won't be renewing when our contract comes up for renewal in Mid November. I still love this flat and the area so I'm staying and looking for 2 new flatmates (there will be 3 of us total including myself).
The building is a converted factory/warehouse with concierge service during the day and is close to both Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland stations as well as a load of bus routes. The area is in zone 2 and has great bars and cafes and is not far from Angel, Stoke Newington, London Fields, the rest of Hackney etc. The landlord is a company not a private landlord so they have a fairly smooth process for sorting out repairs etc and the flat comes furnished. Ideally looking for ladies in the 27-34 age bracket. I'm 29, work in finance, and enjoy being friends with flatmates and going out for a drink with them. We very much have a "home not a house" vibe at the moment and would love to keep it that way. 🙂 Room 2 may look a bit small but it comes with a second room attached (read below).
Rent: Both rooms are £1,120 / month each
Bills: approx. £130 a month
12 month contract
Must be able to pass income check or have a guarantor.
Room 1 - This is the room in the photos with two walls of exposed brick. The light in this room is great because of the two big windows and because of the amount of brick I always think it has a very cosy vibe. This is the larger one of the two.
Room 2 - This is the smaller room of the two but the price is the same because it comes with another room upstairs (can't technically be its own bedroom because it doesn't have a window but it is very spacious). The extra room has enough space for a WFH area (great if you WFH and enjoy the separation of space for work) or extra clothes/suitcase storage or a sofa bed for friends to stay round or all 3. This would be entirely your room, the rest of us don't use it. This is the longer, kind of skinny room in the photos.
