Description
Hi! I’m Mina — a 30-year-old American lesbian working in media and the creative industries, looking for three housemates to join me in putting in an offer on this amazing 4-bed terraced house in Dalston.
Since we’d be applying together, everyone will need Right to Rent in the UK and to meet the standard income requirement (annual income of at least 30x your share of the rent). Once approved, we’ll get to make the place our own and create a home together from day one.
The house is recently remodeled but still has plenty of original charm and character — think classic London details mixed with modern updates. It’s on a quiet street just off Stoke Newington Road, with a large open living area perfect for both lounging and dining, a modern kitchen with a washer, dishwasher, and gas range. There’s also a cute backyard — ideal for adding outdoor furniture or a BBQ once summer rolls around.
I’m hoping to build a welcoming queer household that feels creative, relaxed, and friendly. I love cooking and hosting the occasional dinner party, and would love this to be a space where friends feel comfortable to hang out or share a meal.
We’re aiming for a late October or November 1 move-in, depending on how quickly we find the right group to apply together.
I also have videos of the rooms and house, and once we’ve connected, we can plan a time to go view the property together as a group.
If that sounds like your kind of home, let’s meet virtually or over coffee to see how we click.
🛏️ Available Double Rooms
(all share a bathroom on the first floor)
Room 1 — £1,300: Bright, large double with bay window at the front of the house
Room 2 — £1,100: Medium double with built-in shelving and space for a clothes rail
Room 3 — £1,100: Quiet double overlooking the garden (no built-in closet)
📍 Location & Transport
Dalston Kingsland — ~10 min walk
Dalston Junction — ~13 min walk
Rectory Road — ~16 min walk
Canonbury — ~20 min walk
Quiet, residential street with quick access to cafés, pubs, and shops around Dalston and Stoke Newington — close enough to everything, but peaceful when you’re home
