Description

Double room in 2-bed flat in Dalston available from 13 January for approximately 2 months.

The flat is over 2 floors in a low-rise block of flats. It’s a peaceful place tucked away on the Islington side of Dalston. And even though it's quiet here in the flat, the heart of Dalston is a 5 minute walk away.

The communal area is mainly on the ground floor - kitchen with gas hobs, loads of cupboard room and a big fridge/freezer. There is a good stock of appliances and kitchen supplies for shared use.
In the living room there is a dining table, 3-seater sofa and TV in there. This living room is bright and spacious and leads out to a south-facing balcony.

There’s a toilet downstairs, and a separate bath/shower room upstairs. The bathroom has a bath, shower, sink and cupboard space. Everything is functional and in good condition.

The bedroom is upstairs on the top floor of the building, is a good size and gets loads of light as it's south facing and looking out there are big windows. You can see the skyline of the City out of the window.
Provided in the room will be a double bed with good quality mattress (Emma brand), a large double wardrobe, a big sit-stand desk and an office chair, therefore it's well set-up for you to work from home. If you have your own furniture to bring, let’s discuss as could maybe move some stuff out to make way for yours.
There is a storage cupboard in the room and some other storage space in the flat too.

Location: Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction overground stations are both around 10 minutes’ walk (Kingsland less). Buses run from nearby and get to Angel / Clerkenwell / Kings Cross pretty quick. Dalston is great for its cafes, bars and restaurants which you can get to in 5-10 minutes. There is a big Sainsbury's and an Aldi as well as plenty of other shops in Dalston.

I am sub-letting the room while I go travelling. You'll be living with my flatmate Joe, a 25 year old Architect from Ireland.
Joe has provided the following bio: I’m an easygoing, respectful and tidy housemate. I love music and going to gigs, I enjoy the cinema, bouldering & running.

Earliest move in date is 13 January and the room will be available from then until mid March, so approximately two months. We could be a bit flexible within this date range, so let us know what would work for you.

Rent will be £210 per week, and then bills £42 per week - inclusive of all standard bills: council tax, water, gas & electricity, internet and TV licence for the flat.

If you’re interested, please let us know a bit about yourself and also let us know if you have any questions. We are looking to arrange viewings over the weekend, so let us know your availability as well.

Thank you!
