Lovely big south facing room in large N16 house

Hello,

I am looking for an additional house mate for my room in Belgrade Road. I work as an artist from home, using an upstairs room as my studio.

The room I am letting out is a good sized double room on the ground floor, with a big south facing window, so it gets plenty of sun on sunny days. There is very little traffic, and it is a quiet location. There is a large open plan kitchen/diner on the ground floor with a dining table, sofa, TV etc. I mostly cook upstairs in a small second kitchen at the top of the house so the downstairs cooking area would be mainly used by whoever rents the room.

There is a large bathroom on the first floor which would also be mainly used by the person renting the room as I have a small shower room at the top of the house.

I also have an elderly dog, a basset hound, who tends to sleep quite a bit, and generally stays with me. He is mostly quiet, and isn’t much of a guard dog! His feeding area is upstairs, so you may not see him around all that much apart from when we go in and out.

I have a male friend currently staying with me for between 1 - 2 nights a week until about August. He is staying in another smaller room, and he uses the main bathroom.

All bills are included apart from gas, which is shared. My current energy rate is fixed until March 2027. There is space in the front area outside to park a bicycle.

I am hoping to find someone easy going, considerate, and compatible with sharing a space for mutual stress free living! In the past I have rented the room to people from all walks of life, and many different occupations. It would not be suitable if you have large furniture items (such as a bed, or mattress) of your own as the room is already furnished. A small table, bookcase, or chair would be fine. Belgrade Road is a lovely street, with friendly neighbours, and many easy transport links. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
