Description
Double room available from the 1st of April in a bright, high-ceiling 2-bed warehouse conversion on the top floor, with an open-plan kitchen/living room, one bathroom, and an amazing view.
The room comes with a bed frame only — everything else you would need to provide 🙂
The rest of the flat is fully furnished by me. A part of the sofa was bought together with my current flatmate, and he would like to sell his share to the incoming tenant (around £50, TBC with him).
I’m keen to keep improving the space and would love to live with someone who enjoys sharing responsibility and contributing in a positive way to making the flat even nicer and cozier.
The building is lovely, with many residents working in creative fields. There’s also a very helpful building WhatsApp group for general issues. The building has 24/7 security and CCTV.
I’m looking for someone around my age, working full-time (maximum one day WFH), who is tidy, clean, respectful, and enjoys a calm, comfortable home.
Please note: this is not a party flat.
I usually go out to party and socialise, but I like to keep the flat peaceful at home, especially as the walls are a bit thin — having similar lifestyles really helps 🙂
About me
I’m Emi, 37, working full-time in fashion, and sometimes on weekends too. I work long hours, so during the week I usually go to bed early. Whenever I’m free, I enjoy going out, exploring, and socialising, but at home I really value peace, order, and a nice atmosphere. I’m tidy, respectful, and I care about creating a pleasant living space. I’m friendly and enjoy doing things together, but I also really value personal space.
In my free time I practise yoga, enjoy cooking, go to exhibitions and gigs, travel, and paint.
I do smoke, but only outside.
I also have lots of plants — the flat is very green 🌿 Please feel free to bring more!!
✨ Important: I’d love to hear from you only if you feel we could have a similar lifestyle and approach to sharing a home.
Partners or friends are very welcome from time to time, but this isn’t a flat where people are constantly around or where the living room becomes a permanent hang-out spot. The walls are thin, so we can hear quite a lot :)
Communication is really important to me — I truly appreciate honest, direct, and kind people. My last living experience wasn’t the easiest, so I’d love to make sure I find the right match for both me and this home, where everyone feels comfortable.
I’m happy to share my things and I believe in being thoughtful and fair with shared spaces. If something breaks, I’d really appreciate it being replaced — or simply contributing together to keep the flat lovely and cozy for both of us 💛
We would need to sign a renewal contract together starting 1st April.
• 12-month contract (renewable every year)
• 6-month break clause
• Rent: £920–£950/month (TBC – currently negotiating the renewal with the agency)
• Bills: £100–£150/month
(All bills are in my name except council tax, which you would take over)
• Deposit: £808
If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to hear from you.
Please tell me a bit about yourself and your lifestyle ✨ (and so sorry for the long description!)
