I live in a flat in Shacklewell and my current housemate is sadly moving onto pastures new. His room is therefore up for grabs - it’s a small but nice double, within a really lovely two bed flat that also has a beast of a balcony off the living room that is in the sun basically all day. The flat is on a pretty quiet road in a really safe block with gated access.
I’m a 28 yr old guy (29 in a few weeks) who is in my opinion, extremely funny and nice.
I work in music and am in the office 3/4 days a week, however I do also write and produce a lot of music as part of my job - this is done most evenings from home (in my studio in my room) - it’s really self contained and done mostly through headphones though - current and past housemates have never found it disturbing, but worth flagging early doors in-case!
Otherwise, I’m a social and easy-going person, enjoy going to gigs, pubs, clubs etc. - all the classic Gen Z bull. I’m also a pretty keen cook and pretentious armchair film critic incase that is additionally helpful to know.
Finally - only other thing to flag is that we like to keep the flat lookin like a today mothership. we’ve got a dishwasher, but being clean and tidy is really important !
Financial/ landlord/ admin stuff:
- Rent for this room is £960 per month
- Bills come to around £160 a month
- Water is a bit more sporadic than that - usually around £100 every 6 months or so
- I’m just a tenant, but the landlord is great and super chilled. We’ve got a good relationship with her.
- Move in date is from 7th April onwards (rent paid on 10th of each month)
