The room and flat:
This is a spacious and very peaceful loft - great if you sometimes feel the need to escape the noise and pressures of London. It also has a lovely view over the city.

The shared kitchen-diner is well equipped and extremely welcoming with comfy seating and a table large enough to seat 6 or 7 guests for a dinner party of Sunday lunch. It is as much a living room as kitchen. (No microwave)

The patio garden is small but perfect - a harbour of peace with mature rose bushes and flowers. Lovely for a quiet breakfast in the sun or a drink and barbecue in the evening with a friend or two.

Local places:
We are surrounded by plenty of cafes for coffee and pastries, some of the best Turkish restaurants in town and several good local pubs.
5 minutes walk away is Church Street with its independent bookshops, boutiques and great restaurants. A short walk in the other direction will take you into the heart of Dalston.
Other local amenities include Clissold Leisure Centre, Butterfield Green, Clissold Park, Ridley Road Market, Yoga Home, the Rio Cinema and Stoke Newington Farmer’s Market.

Transport links:
Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction stations are respectively 5 and 8 minutes walk away with links across the city. Direct buses go from the top of the road to Shoreditch, Waterloo, Liverpool Street and London Bridge and from Newington Green to Euston, Kings Cross, Oxford Street.

Bicycles & Parking
Cyclists have the use of a bike hanger. Residential car parking is available from Hackney Council.
