Hello! We have a room that will becoming available in our Dalston flat end of June/beginning of July! (there's flexibility on the move in date)
THE FLAT:
→ 3 bedroom ground floor flat with the front door opening out not to the street but the estate communal green space with allotments and bike storage available.
→ Accessibility: There is a phone and buzzer entry into the building. Ground floor, 3 steps to enter the flat.
→ Good sized kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower, separate toilet, large living room with big windows so lots of light and a TV with Netflix and Playstation but no cable/sky/etc. Also a movie projector :)
→ The flat is furnished (washing machine included) and has a little balcony!
→ Non-smoking inside, but it's fine out on the balcony.
→ Location is great, a 5 min walk to London Fields/Broadway Market and 10 to either Dalston Junction or Hackney Central with lots of nice shops around. 38, our favourite night bus stops round the corner too.
→ THE ROOM ITSELF is quite small, with a double bed, large windows, internal shelving, a closet, a mirror, and a small dresser. View of the communal green space outside. The new tenant will be more than welcome to make a lot of use of our large lounge and hallway!
RENT: Monthly rent is £695 INCLUDING BILLS (council tax, water, gas, electric, internet) paid at the beginning of each month. Price goes according to room size and this is the smallest room of the flat.
Security deposit is £600. We are tenants with an agency and this room will be a sublet, we are flexible with lenght of stay but prefer more long term.
THE PEOPLE:
→ Neight is a gay transguy who currently works full time at a local charity shop and Fay is a non binary femme who works as a coffee barista and studying mental health nursing.
→ Nerdiness of any sort would be appreciated. Our flat is mostly decorated based on our mutual love of the Hannibal TV show.
→ WE HAVE A DOG! His name is Mikke, he responds to Greek and is a weirdo 13yr old Yorkie. Picture of his precious face attached.
We also have tanks with two lizards and lots of lovely plants.
→ We are both vegetarian (one of us makes the occasional exception), so we are veg and vegan friendly but this is a NO JUDGEMENT ZONE when it comes to food.
We respect personal space and value open communication and cleanliness. We take advantage of our large lounge and like to have chill evenings either watching things together/chatting or doing our own things. We also like to go to gigs or pubs sometimes for a nice evening.
