Newly refurbished flat with brand new kitchen!
About the Room:
Cozy double room. Loads of natural light. It comes unfurnished. Current flatmate is moving out to live with her partner. Double bed and new matress provided.
About the House and the area:
Located in the heart of Dalston, nestled in a quiet street, with great connections: 5 min walk to Dalston Junction Station, 8 minutes walk to Dalston Kingsland Station. Both stations are two stops away from Highbury and Islington (victoria line) Only 15 mins by bus to Liverpool street, 10 mins walk to London Fields and Broadway Market. There are gyms nearby and a leisure center with swimming pool, many yoga studios, local organic shops, cafes, dry cleaners, large supermarkets and beauty salons.
The house has a fully equipped large sized kitchen, with plenty of storage, dining table and a sofa and decent size bathroom with generous bath tub.
We also have a patio area, that might need some TLC. So all the creatives and DIY fans will be more than welcome ☺
House rules:
*We are an environmentally friendly house and we are mindful of wasteful electricity, gas etc. (i. e long washing machine cycles, hallway lights left on overnight when everyone is sleeping etc.)
*We have a 10 pm - 9 am rule during when we minimise noise (slamming doors, loud music) in order to cater to everyone's routines and schedules and make sure everyone gets the rest they need.
*We have a weekly cleaning rota for the communal areas (kitchen, bathroom, hallways), but we are also keen on maintaining these areas clean and tidy on a day to day basis by always cleaning after ourselves.
*Loves animals - we have a pet cat.
About the flatmates
Alex, an artist & designer who is WFH most of the time & loves sports. She’s very busy working full-time & running her own business. Loves long walks in the park, cooking, drawing & drinking coffee. She comes in pair with a lovely cat named Pixie.
Liz is a therapist and loves travelling. With her job comes periods of a very busy schedule and periods with more time to practise at home but she’ll most often be out and about.
We have busy work schedules, so we appreciate a lovely and quiet place to come home to. We both enjoy good balance of being sociable and having quiet ‘me time’.
About you:
You can commit to the monthly expenses without delay.
You are happy to adjust to the house rules.
You are mindful of everyone’s schedule and happy to communicate with us to make sure we are all comfortable and happy.
If you are smoker, you're happy to use patio for smoking.
Personality will ultimately win! We hope for a lovely flatmate, with a sense of humour, interesting things to share, someone who is easy to talk to and respectful.
