Hello Spareroomers! Thanks for taking the time to check out our ad. Maybe the often exhausting hunt for an epic domicile is over...

My partner and I are hoping to find a well matched couple to take on the second bedroom in our pretty bloody lovely warehouse conversion in the heartlands of Hackney.

Who the hell are you?! I hear you ask.

Im Charlie. veteran of 37 trips around the sun in cahoots with Ella, 33.
We both work in advertising in various capacities. I'm a set designer working in commercials and music videos. Ella is one of those multi disciplinary creative types; set decorator, strategist, researcher. She's typically typing furiously while extremely well dressed.

Enough about us though. You want to know more about this place by now I imagine.

We're on the ground floor of grade 2 listed 'Kingsland Crescent'.
The room available is a spacious double at the rear of the building.
Exposed brick and original wooden floors lend huge character to this unique space.

We've been lucky enough to live here for 4 years. Over that time we have appointed the place with a lot of DIY love and expensive appliances you only become interested in when you hit mid thirties.

The obvious, Samsung washing machine, Tumble dryer and Dishwasher. Accompanied by coffee machine, kettle and microwave come air fryer from Sage. The 65" 4K TV, sound system, dart board and piano take care of most entertainment needs. Netflix and Apple TV are also a staple supplement to top this offering.

The 2 min walk to Haggerston station, a plethora of bus stops and off street parking will keep you mobile when you need to be. As will our limited bike storage.

Bills are INCLUDED. This covers a bunch of stuff that we've found reduces house admin and makes living in harmony even more harmonious.

The room comes semi furnished. You can kind of do what you like with the space. To some extent... Happy to discuss this with you.

All that said. We do have some personal caveats and expectations that we feel should be made plain early on...

Broadly speaking we're looking for people who are a good fit. Obviously respectful, tidy and ideally somewhat social.

We both used to party but our knees and livers are beyond that stage now (most of the time...)

We both WFH; the film industry being a fickle beast can be quite disruptive. We had 8 washing machines delivered and stored at the front of the house for a couple of days once. It resulted in an exceptional advert for Lenor. (NB: this is not the washing powder provided. :)

The room available is at the back of the house, so no sirens or road noise. However you are next to the kitchen so theres the threat of the typical noises from the dishwasher or washing machine.
