I’m looking for someone to take over my current flatmates room in a spacious 2-bedroom flat in Dalston. I recently moved in to this apartment in April so am eager to keep making this place feel like a home, cosy vibes. The flat has great natural light, with windows facing both east and west. It spans over two floors: the large living room/kitchen and bathroom are on the 2nd floor, and the two bedrooms are on the 3rd.
👤 About me :
You’ll have just one flatmate, me! I’m Maltese, queer, 35 - I work in events & design which has led me to relocate to London. I do some work on the side as a photographer. I love a natural wine spot, going to live gigs & searching for the best coffee shops in the city. When it comes to being at home, I keep it quite chill and love to wind down with a good movie or equally have a chat & glass of wine over a home-cooked meal
The Room:
The room is a double with lots of sunshine. It’s unfurnished, except for a bed and mattress (there’s a mirror, rail & book shelf that you can choose to keep, if not we can get rid of it)
📍Location:
The flat is just a 5-minute walk to Dalston Junction, and super well connected by buses. The neighbourhood`s great: you know Dalston is full of life, with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, bars, and charity shops nearby. You’ve got all your essentials covered too – Sainsbury’s, Aldi, M&S, Tesco, and Co-op are all within a 10-minute walk. Anytime Fitness is even closer. Canals are 20 mins walk.
💰Rent / Move-in deets
* Rent per month for the room is £1025. Bills are around £150. Deposit is £1154.
* The property is managed through an agency, and they’ll need to do some referencing (income, previous landlord, passport/visa checks, etc.).
* You'll be added to the current contract, which finishes in December 2025, with the possibility to renew further.
* Preference will be given to those who don’t fully work remotely
