We have a medium-sized double room in our lovely De Beauvoir mews home, available late November. The house is a really good size, with three bedrooms, a large living room, separate kitchen-diner and gorgeous south-facing patio garden, which is perfect for BBQs. There is also a separate storage room, which is great for stashing bikes/tents etc.

The mews is gated, and off the main road, so is very quiet and secure.

The room itself is unfurnished but has a built-in wardrobe with full-length mirrors. Current tenant may sell king-size bed frame if interested. The bathroom is shared with just one other flatmate, and there's a separate toilet downstairs for guests.

The rest of the house has been furnished by us, although there is space for some additional furniture etc. if required.

As for us, we're in our late 30s/early 40s: one male who works in music and fitness, and one female working in media. We're normally fairly busy people with different schedules, but we love our house and enjoy spending time here. Although social, we are by no means a party house and are looking for a liked-minded individual to join us.

We like to keep our house tidy and clean, so please be happy to chip in with housework and clean up after yourself🤓. In the past we’ve had a cleaner who comes once a month for a deep clean, but we need to find someone new.

Location-wise, the house is situated at the heart of the De Beauvoir neighbourhood. We're a 10-minute walk to Haggerston and 15-min walk to Dalston overgrounds, and there are also a ton of buses from Essex Rd, Southgate Rd and Kingsland Rd taking you towards the City, London town, Liverpool St, Islington/Angel and Stokey. We are also a short walk from the canal, which takes you to Islington, Broadway Market, Victoria Park and Hackney.

The mews has several awesome pubs within a few minutes walk (Scolts Head, De Beauvoir Arms, Talbot, Rosemary Branch and etc.); two different delis at our doorstep, as well as Tesco and Sainsbury’s local shops, and plenty of restaurants close by.

The house is a real find - the photographs don't do it justice! You will be required to sign a lease and pay the usual estate agent fees. Rent is £1090 per calendar month, bills are approx £190/month each, plus cleaner costs.
