Family home with young children seeking lodger.

Available December 1st.

I am a busy single Mom with 8 year old twin girls, working from home. Looking for someone who is a student or works during normal hours outside the home and enjoys/has prior experience living with both children and pets (dog, car and fish). Because all of the other residents are female we would prefer a female. Due to the constraints of family life with young children, overnight guests are not allowed on school nights and noise needs to be kept to a minimum after 7pm on week nights. (This does not mean that you can’t cook or watch tv etc.) This is not for everyone so please only reply if you think that this living situation is convenient for you rather than restrictive in the long term. We are a friendly, supportive, “doors open” household.

The rent includes council tax and bills.

The room is a double room on the top floor of a 3 floor house with a lot of storage space. On your floor there are three rooms. One is the room of one other lodger and the other is a bathroom that you would share with her. The other lodger is an easygoing Italian woman in her 30’s who, is a professional photographer and loves cooking.

The living room, kitchen, laundry room and garden are all shared common areas, however all of your belongings would need to be kept and stored in your own room.

Bike storage in the back garden with access only through the back garden door.

Open to lowering rent for the right person in return for once a week childcare when I have to go out late in the evenings for work events.

The house is a 3 - 5 minute walk from various bus stops which will take you to either the Angel, Highbury & Islington & Dalston Junction in 10 minutes. It is a 15 minute walk to Canonbury, Essex Road and Dalston Junction stations.

Must be in regular work and not working from home.
