Summary: Furnished large bedroom is available for a 3-6 month let in a lovely and peaceful two-bedroom flat located on Regent’s Canal in Haggerston (Hackney). You would be sharing with myself and my partner Lucy who live in the big ensuite bedroom. The flat is fully furnished, has two bathrooms, a spacious open-plan kitchen and living room, and a beautiful balcony (from which you can see the Kingsland Basin).

Price: £1,100 pcm, plus bills (£204 pcm). Deposit is £1,100.

Move-in date: The room is available 3 November 2025.

Viewings: Upon request (& open house on 18th October).

Licence agreement: This will be a sublet for 3-6 months, with a possibility to extend longer (but this depends on circumstances). This will be a short simple contract to be agreed to protect both parties.

Us: You will be living with Lucy (she/her) & Sophie (they/them), we’re a couple and have been together for 2 years. Lucy (29) is a full time HR Manager for a music publisher and a part-time dog sitter. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, reading, listening to music and going to gigs. Sophie (30) is a PhD student, university researcher and journal editor. They like reading, cute nature walks, and spending time with pals/family. Together we watch a lot of TV, play video games, go swimming, and like going to local markets. We like travelling and going on holidays. We both work 9-5 hybrid between home/ office/ cafes.

You: Our ideal tenant would be friendly, and considerate. Ideally, a woman or nb, and queer friendly (I’m afraid, no couples). And someone who doesn’t have parties in the flat (we value peace, sleep and sanctuary!).

Location: The flat is located on a quiet street in Haggerston (Hackney), meters away from Regent’s Canal. It is 5 mins walk to Haggerston overground station. It’s excellently located to get to Dalston, Shoreditch or the city (and you can get to a tube in under 10 mins). The area is filled with bars, cafes and restaurants, pubs, and grocery shops. It’s also surprisingly quiet, and there are some nice green spaces.

Furniture: The bedroom comes with a double bed, bedside table, a clothes rail and chest of drawers, and a desk. The flat comes fully furnished/operational (the kitchen is fully stocked, and the living room has comfy sofas/ a big smart TV).
