I am moving abroad, so renting out a double bedroom in my 2 bed, 2 bath flat in De Beauvoir Town.
The flat is an old school conversion with very high ceilings, full south facing windows with lots of natural light, in a safe and quiet community. I fully rennovated the flat 5 years ago with real wooden floors throughout, and new furniture, bathrooms, and kitchen. The flat has an open plan kitching and living room with lots of houseplants, plenty of space and a big TV, and has all amenities like a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and also has a storage room for a couple suitcases.
The room itself has a double bed (with an emma mattress), a built-in wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a desk with drawers, and a desk chair. There is also a big bathroom which is the ensuite of the 2nd bedroom, with a bath, shower, and big vanity unit.
The building has a really lovely and friendly concierge called Ola, a gym in the basement, and a sauna (although I rarely used it, some others do).
You would be living with my partner, Ollie, who is a 32-year old male, working in consulting (mainly within sports), and with a big interest in sports. He is considerate and responsible, and often quite busy with friends (and hopefully likely visiting me in Denmark some weekends!). Currently my indoor cat is also still in the flat, although I will be moving her to Denmark in September. She’s very cute, clean, and timid incase you overlap!
We're looking for someone friendly, clean, tidy, and responsible who is looking for a really comfortable and well cared for home. My last flatmate lived here for 4 years, until my partner moved in. He lived with 3 others before moving in here, so is also used to living with others and is very sociable!
The flat comes furnished (incl. plates and kitchen ware). Rent doesn't include bills, but council tax is 100 GBP per month, and all other bills (water, electricity, internet) usually add up to approx 100GBP per month as well.
