Hello! I'm looking for a new flatmate for a double bedroom in a lovely 2-bed Georgian townhouse with a garden, right in the heart of De Beauvoir!

Our warm and cosy flat is split over three levels: the first floor has a hallway with access to our garden, the second floor has the kitchen and living room, and the third floor has two double bedrooms and shared modern bathroom. It gets plenty of sun throughout the day and our street is very quiet and residential. Bonus: our downstairs neighbour is an absolute delight and the landlord is really kind.

The room itself is bright and airy, with gorgeous afternoon sunlight and a big window looking out into the garden. It comes furnished with a bed and mattress and ample shelf space. We also have plenty of storage space in the attic.

The location is prime: the flat is right behind De Beauvoir Wholefoods, Deli and Arms, with connectivity to 141/ 73 buses at your doorstep and a 10-minute walk to Haggerson overground.

You'll be sharing with just one other person (me!): I'm originally from Sydney and work in journalism/ consulting. My schedule varies, but I go into the office at least 3 days a week and will usually have plans with friends a few nights a week.

You will be replacing a dear friend from uni who's ready to be an adult and move out into her own flat. I'm ideally looking for someone aged 29-35 with a similar work-life balance, who communicates well, wants to make the flat their home, and prioritizes keeping shared spaces clean. I'm also very up for having a shared meal or drink and catching up around the house!

The lease is up for renewal in January, so you'd be renewing it with me. The move-in date is flexible: January 3rd is the date, but moving in sometime Nov or Dec is also an option.
