Cozy room in De Beauvoir in flat with canal views

Hi there!

I'm moving into a 2-bed 2-bath modern flat in January and looking for someone to sublet the second room (move-in date flexible in February). The flat is right on the canal with juliet balconies overlooking the water in the living room, so it has a really nice view and is also quiet.

Length of stay is flexible (could start with up to 6 months, see how it goes, with possibility to extend).

There are two very large bathrooms, one outside your bedroom in the hallway that would be your designated bathroom (it has a bathtub as well). There is also a laundry room, bike storage downstairs, and elevator in the building.

The room comes with a double bed and a clothing rack, as there is no closet. The rent is 1250 without bills.

As I am moving in January, I have only photos and videos to show for now but would be happy to meet up and see if it's the right fit :)

About me: I'm American, 34, and work in energy markets in the City. I work from the office 2-3 days a week. I'm from near NYC and used to live in Paris for many years and also lived in Russia and Austria. I speak French and Russian and am learning Spanish.

I'm looking for someone who would be down for a chat after work and who wouldn't mind hosting occasional dinner parties or having some people over. During the week, I'm either out socializing, doing improv, or rock climbing, and on the weekend I like to meet friends and sometimes go out dancing.
