Room in De Beauvoir House

THE HOUSE
A spacious and homely three-bedroom house with a big lounge/dining area, separate kitchen, two bathrooms (one ensuite, and one you’ll share with Dan), a laundry area, and a gorgeous garden with a shed for bike storage.
We take pride in keeping the place clean and cosy and we’d love someone who feels the same. The common spaces are fully furnished, but your room technically isn't (although the housemate who is leaving will be selling the Japanese bedframe and Eve mattress – if you're interested.)

We’re on a quiet street, just under 5 minutes’ walk to Dalston Junction and 8 minutes to Haggerston station.
The house is part of the Benyon Estate and is really well maintained — any issues get sorted quickly and professionally.

While isn’t a party house, we do like friends over every now and again for dinner or drinks.

WHO YOU’LL BE LIVING WITH
Shirin: 35, originally from Malmö working in advertising. Big fan of trash tv, yoga, wine, and a proper dance! Also a lover of Larry David and Malcolm Tucker, so expect a bit of sarcasm and the occasional colourful language.

Dan: 29 from Scotland, Electrical Engineer - into football, pints, almond croissants and eating out but also threatening to run a marathon, doesn’t do Hyrox.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Someone who is reasonably sane and a nice human being, primarily.

But other than that, someone who’s respectful, that doesn’t WFH every day of the week, likes talking nonsense, and who takes pride in keeping the house tidy and welcoming.
