Location: The property is situated in the heart of De Beauvoir - a short two-minute walk from the De Beauvoir Arms and De Beauvoir Deli. The area itself is a golden nugget of inner east living and is easily accessible via the 141 and 76 bus stop on Southgate road. It’s a 10-minute walk to Haggerston overground and the nearest tube is Old Street Station (Zone 1.) There’s a Tesco and Wholefoods close by.

Room: The spacious upper-level room of a three-storey house features a carpeted floor and front-facing glass window. The room has furniture available to be purchased.
The upper level also features a spacious bathroom with a shower and separate bathtub. This is shared with one tenant (they live on the upper level as well).

The large 1st-floor living room/kitchen is a sizable main area that easily accommodates more than the four tenants, which is perfect for our household. It features a large double door fridge, double oven, and dining table that comfortably seats 8 people. The kitchen also includes everything else: microwave, pots, cutlery, etc. The TV and couch set up are great for movie nights and also a little nap on Sunday if you’re feeling it.

Lower level: The lower level is mirrored downstairs with two large bedrooms and a bathroom, which the downstairs tenants share. Downstairs has a walk-in laundry and drying area as well as a storage cupboard. The house also features a back garden which comes in handy during the warm summer days in London.

Current tenants: We’re easy-going, social, working professional’s in our early 30’s. We count ourselves fairly lucky to be living in such a nice place and harmonious household after coming from a variety of different places prior to Southgate road. We’re looking for someone who’s interested in a fun and relaxed house dynamic. We all have fairly busy social and work life outside the flat, so we are mindful of each other’s personal space and time at home. We're a fun mix of British and Australians!
