I’m looking for a friendly gal to join me in this sunny, well-located 2-bed, taking over a furnished double room available from 1st May as my lovely flatmate is moving in with her boyfriend.

About the room: furnished with a bed + mattress, closet and cabinet, with space for a desk if you WFH, and near-exclusive use of the main bathroom as I have an ensuite. The flat is also furnished with a separate living room & kitchen (plus dishwasher) and has a balcony that is gorgeous as we head into the warmer weather, but we also stay pretty warm indoors in winter.

Location: 30 second walk to Regent’s Canal, less than 10 min walk to Haggerston overground station and multiple bus stops, a 25 min walk to Liverpool Street.

About me: 29 y/o, Malaysian-Scottish, working in comms in the City to keep the lights on, and hitting up anything artsy/ creative in my spare time (especially cinema & theatre) when I'm not trying out cool new cafes and restaurants or cooking and baking. I am sociable, tidy, and love to see friends, travel, and explore new neighbourhoods around London but equally like downtime at home - this flat has been a calm, cosy oasis from hectic London life for over a year now and I love it here.

I’m looking for: A full-time working professional who is also in their late 20s / early 30s, is clean, tidy, considerate and respectful, thinks we'd get along, and is ideally looking to rent longer-term

Rent is £1,075 and bills are around £130-140 per month

Requirements: no couples, no smoking, no pets, and references are required.
