De Beauvoir Town room

hi! there is a room available in the house located in the heart of Dalston, at De Beauvoir Town.

as my visa to stay in the UK is about to finish, i am about to leave London and looking for someone to replace me in my beautiful room.

i’ve lived here for 2.5 years now, so based on my experience i can confidently say it is a place to stay. move-in is flexible — ideally the beginning/mid May.

the house locaion is incredible if you like good morning coffee and nice food experiences. there are plenty of incredible cafes, bars and restaurants right around the corner. the street is very calm and clean, the neighbours are also nice and friendly. the connection to the city is excellent — Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland stations are 5-7 minute walk away, Lime bike parking which i use a lot is right next to the house. there is a corner shop down the road, Sainsbury and M&S on the highstreet which are very convenient and fast to get to.

the house has a large living room with a TV and a record player, two bathrooms, spacious kitchen with a big roof window, big garden and a rooftop terrace.

the room itself is located on the ground floor which is very convenient. it features high-ceilings, fireplace, built-in shelves and a rail. the full-length window leads to the garden and is a such a lovely detail, especially during the hot season.

the room comes unfurnished, but i am happy to leave the needed furniture (can be discussed).

the house is shared with 4 other people in their mid–late 20s. even though it may sound like a lot, it never feels crowded. most of us are always travelling or working, so the place feels cozy and allows you personal space. everyone in the house is very nice and responsive. people are very open to hang out together, but also respectful of alone-time and privacy.

overall, i loved my time living here and would’ve definitely stayed longer, if i could.
