Spacious double room (3 bed house) in Denmark Hill

Our house is in a little close in a friendly neighbourhood with a furnished garden at the back and a comfortable space to sit and host friends. There is parking if you require (permit to purchase). The room comes with a large built in closet, a double bed and bedside table. There is space in the room for a desk to accommodate wfh. The main bathroom is just shared between 2 bedrooms.

The room is £1030 per month excluding bills. These are around £160 a month (council band E) at the minute but may vary come March. All bills are split evenly between 3 housemates including household costs (kitchen spray, garden waste removal etc).

Denmark Hill station is super close (8 min walk) and is on the windrush line between Clapham junction and shoreditch high street. The station also has a 10 minute direct train to Victoria and is direct to King’s Cross at peak times and always to Blackfriars. There are regular buses direct to Victoria, Tottenham Court Road (24 hours) and Farringdon as well. East Dulwich train station is a 10 minute walk with direct train to London Bridge.

We are a 15 minute walk to East Dulwich which is really cute vibe with some great drinking spots. Ruskin park is just round the corner (8 min walk) which is one of the larger london parks; it has a great view of the city and is a really nice spot in the summer. It has tennis courts and other public amenities.

Bit of info about us: we are both 27 & working young professionals. We work in marketing and administration. We’re both social and out and about a fair bit but also spend time in the house together. We are LGBTQIA+ friendly and are welcoming to all. We are looking for a cat friendly Housemate as we cat-sit occasionally as well.
