Description
I'm an artist/designer originally from Camberwell school of art. I spend much of my time swimming and playing squash and work-wise I mostly make built in furniture locally now although I used to have a business painting murals and worked as a designer in the Philippines for a while.
I like to be sociable and have kept in touch with many of my past flatmates who have become friends.
I've nearly always had someone living with me as I like that dynamic and the variety that brings.
An ideal share for me is somone who is busy working but happy to share the occasional meal or glass of wine a couple of times a week.
I'm generally out around 3 evenings a week playing squash, swimming or socialising. The rest of the time I spend at the flat unless work takes me away.
The room to rent is the original main bedroom and was originally mine before the roof conversion.
Its 4 X 4 meters and quite a high ceiling as is the style of these late Victorian houses. Reflecting my work and quirkily it has a sky mural painted on the ceiling.
There is plenty of storage space which I have built in over the years.
The house is over 120 years old and I have built and added to it in the 35 years I have been here. The main addition is the roof conversion which gives me a separate bedroom and roof terrace area.
This also has an en-suite bathroom which takes pressure off the main bathroom downstairs.
It looks out over the roof terrace which in the summer is a great area to sit out with a glass of wine or a barbecue and I'm quite happy to share this with considerate people.
