The house was recently refurbished with new bathrooms fitted. It is on a quiet street between Camberwell Grove and Denmark Hill. It is very well appointed with solid wood floors throughout the ground floor. There is a spacious kitchen/diner with a large American fridge freezer, built-in dishwasher and washer/dryer, and a dining table. Double doors lead to a lounge with a couple of big sofas. The house has a cosy, homely feel.
The room is at the back of the house and overlooks gardens, with an ensuite shower room. It is furnished with a small double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and bedside table.
The transport links are excellent: 2 minute walk from Denmark Hill station, with direct trains to Victoria, Clapham Junction and Blackfriars. The overground line provides great links across the city. There are also many bus routes: the 185 provides links to Oval and Victoria, and the 176 is the night bus (very safe) with links to Waterloo, South Bank and Leicester Square. East Dulwich station is not far with links to London Bridge. On-street parking available (with permit).
The house is also close to lots of great bars & restaurants in Camberwell Green and East Dulwich. There are two large supermarkets nearby (Sainsbury's and Morrisons) plus a very handy corner shop, a nice pub, and an excellent Vietnamese restaurant just around the corner.
You would be sharing with 3 professionals. We don't mind if you're male or female, but are looking for a considerate, tidy flatmate. The rent includes council tax and high speed broadband (Sky fibre optic), but no other bills.
