We are a married couple living in Deptford looking to rent out our second room for Monday to Friday only. This would suit someone commuting to work in Canary Wharf say, and there's easy commute to the City of London.

* 15 minute walk to New Cross Gate
* 10 minute walk to Deptford Bridge
* 2 minute walk to Deptford station

Deptford is a great area for young professionals, there's some fantastic bars in the area and restaurants. It's an increasingly gentrifying area.

In terms of specifics - You can’t beat the Dog & Bell. The cafe at the Albany is also lovely. The food crowd have arrived, courtesy of Deptford Market Yard and Marcella. All within a short walk of the apartment.
