My flatmate Brian is moving out to live with his gf, and I am looking for a sociable and friendly flatmate to take his en-suite double room in our modern flat!
The flat is gorgeous, modern but quite large for modern standards, it has everything you would expect (I think!). Brian's room is an ensuite with a double bed, built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Currently has a desk and a bunch of other stuff but I suspect he will take it with him when he moves.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a chest of drawers, but suggest getting a more comfy bed, up to you!
I am architect working in the sport and entertainment industry, sporty but not obsessed with anything in particular, quite chilled and mature. I like to hang out with friends as well as spending time on my own, but have been extremely busy with work lately, sleep-work repeat kind of routine :D
I travel quite 50/60days per year on average, so there will be occasions where you will often have the house for yourself, particularly during the holidays.
Location is ideal for someone who works in Canary Wharf or even the City, as Cannon St. is only 25/30 minutes away door to door.
Some basic stuff on the area
Transport and shopping:
- 5min walk to Deptford DLR
- 8/10min walk to Greenwich/Deptford train station.
- 20min away from Canary Wharf and 30min from London Bridge.
- Sainsbury's, Coop and Tesco all 7/8 minutes walking distance on Deptford High St, whilst a larger Waitrose is 12 minutes away.
Rent, the flat & other infos:
- 1170 deposit (to be checked)
- Rent 1200 excluding bills (Gas, Electricity, broadband and council tax tbc)
- 6 month minimum stay
- Dishwasher, washing machine & drier, oven & microwave
- Pots, pans, cutlery etc. I have it all
- No parking
- Cycle store available
- No concierge
The flat is rented through L&Q with a Tenancy agreement.
References will be required, incl. proof of income, bank statements, proof of address etc.
