Hello! I’m looking for someone to join me in my beaut Deptford flat :)

Location:
- Florence road
- Minutes walk to deptford high street, shops and restaurant
- Short walk to new cross, Lewisham and Greenwich
- 5 mins walk to new cross station, deptford bridge and deptford station
- 15 mins walk to new cross gate

About the flat:
- 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, living room
- EPC C
- Total rent £1900 per month, your rent £925 a month
- Managed through Felicity J Lord, you would need to pass all the usual referencing checks
- Contract 24 months with break clause to leave after a year (so you can stay 1 or 2 years)
- You’d be signing a new contract starting August 25th
- Bills not included
- deposit is 1096.30 (5 weeks rent as if the rent was split evenly, SpareRoom won’t let me post that)
- No smoking in the building
- No pets
- Lots of natural light (kitchen, bathroom, living room in the morning and the bedrooms in the afternoon/ evening)
- Beautifully decorated with modern appliances (and a huge TV 🤩)

About me:
My name is Josie (she/ her) and I am a 32 year old primary school teacher whose been in the flat already for a year. I’m into chill times, cute markets, nice walks, nice drinks, cool bugs, playing Mario kart, normal stuff. I’m pretty busy during term time so value having a nice, chill, quiet home vibe with someone nice to chat to and hang out with. I am out at work all day except for one half day a week, when I work at home.

About you:
Preferably not a cis man and it’s important you are queer friendly. Someone relatively tidy, whose happy to take turns on the normal things like cleaning and taking the bins out, etc. My current housemate has a very different schedule to me and is a bit of a night owl which has never disturbed me or been a problem but I do ask that you’re not someone who plays loud music at night etc as I have early starts everyday for work. Just generally respectful, considerate and nice :) I’d love to make a new friend!

The room:
- slightly smaller than mine, hence the rent difference, but still a really good size
- Furniture can be flexible, the desk and chairs are definitely going. We can discuss based on what you want

The landlord:
- Currently working abroad and renting his flat while he’s away
- This is his home, rather than being a business landlord and as such, the flat is really nicely done and the appliances are great
- Although the flat is technically managed through Felicity J Lord, he has been very happy for us to contact him directly with any issues and has always been professional and efficient
