Short-term summer sublet

We’re looking for a queer-friendly flatmate to join our lovely Deptford home for a few months on a sublet!

Rent per month: £641
Bills: approx £125

Info:
The flat has a gorgeous big kitchen which is great if you like cooking as much as us! We’ve got a big bright living room for home cinema nights or working from home a few days a week if you need - we both do intermittently. We’re looking for someone with a similar schedule to us - working during the daytimes and socialising across evenings and weekends.

Accessibility:
The flat is on the second floor, up three flights of stairs, and there are no lifts or intercoms. The stairs are metal with big gaps in between each step (like a fire escape), I would say roughly 50 steps. Everything is on the same level inside the flat, except with one step down to the kitchen. The bathroom is on the same level as the bedrooms and this particular bedroom is approx. 4 metres from the bathroom/toilet. There are no adaptations in the flat .

About us:
The two housemates living here are Pearl (they/them), a florist who loves community gardens, protests and bat tours(!), plus Hannah (she/her) who works in human rights/ immigration law and loves film photography, cooking & hiking.

We’re a cosy, chill household and are looking for a flatmate who is community-minded, communicative and respectful. Due to neurodiversity and noise sensitivities, we are a quiet household after 11pm and try to keep a calm space during the working week. We still love having friends over and hosting things, but are not a party household. We often cook for each other, shop together and buy communal things for the house. We value a very clean space with a weekly rota to share the labour and responsibilities.

Transport:
We’re a 5 minute walk to St John’s (Thameslink), 8 mins to Deptford Bridge (DLR) and about 15 mins to New Cross Overground and Deptford (Thameslink), so it’s super well connected, but still really peaceful and quiet.
