Hello,
I am moving out of my flat and I am looking for someone to take over my room. I’ve loved living here, and am leaving to move in with my boyfriend.
The room is a good size for a London flat and the bed in there currently is a King. It also benefits from London skyline views and there is a balcony. One of the other rooms has an ensuite, so the bathroom is just shared with 1 other person.
Bills come to around £130pp per month and this covers council tax, internet, water and electricity. There is underfloor heating but despite large rooms and high ceilings, the flat does not get too cold even in winter months.
My two housemates are in their 30s, one works in HR and one is a assistant head teacher. We all get along well and enjoy watching TV in the evenings, but are also happy to give each other our own space.
The flat is pet friendly, and one of the housemates has a french bulldog called Olive. She is friendly and is well looked after. Her owner takes 100% of responsibility for her, but equally if you want cuddles or to take her on walks she is happy for you to do so. (I have included a picture of Olive in the ad).
Bonuses include a large communal storage cupboard, bike storage, and a reception to collect parcels when you are out. The property is managed well with on site maintenance and any issues have been sorted out quickly. The building next door has a roof top terrace which we have an access fob for. The room is unfurnished.
The area is great - less than a 5 minute walk to New Cross Gate, or around 8 minutes to New Cross. Trains get you to London Bridge in around 5 minutes, or up to Shoreditch in 15. There are great pubs nearby, as well as Deptford market with lots of bars. There is a huge Sainsbury's about an 8 minute walk away, and lots of other convenience stores nearer.
You would take over the room from October 7th and the current lease runs until 31st March 2026.
