I'm sadly moving out of this amazing flat which I share with my best friend Ross.
It's a 2 double bedroom duplex on the top floor of an apartment block:
Upstairs: 2 double bedrooms, 1 full bathroom with bathtub and shower.
Downstairs: 1 full bathroom with standing shower, open plan living/dining room, separate kitchen, HUGE balcony with views of Canary Wharf and the o2.
The bedroom is a small double and comes furnished with a bed, bedside table, wardrobe and chest of drawers + one built in cupboard. The huge double doors open up directly onto the communal roof terrace. The flat is located 5mins walk from New Cross station (national rail and Windrush line), 10mins walk from New Cross Gate station (national rail and Windrush line) and 10mins from Deptford station (national rail). All stations take you to London Bridge within 5mins so it's really ideal for anyone working in the City.
There's private secure parking if needed as well as bike racks in the car park although there's plenty of space on the balcony to store a bike.
Council tax band: C
Water is included in the rent.
All bills come to around £140 per month (dependent on season).
We also have a cleaner that comes once every 2 weeks.
Ideally looking for a professional that doesn't take themselves too seriously on the weekends! Ross is definitely a social person so we're looking for someone not just to cohabit with but to hang out at times and become friends rather than just passing in the wind.
It's been a dream living here and I'm sad to give it up so I'd like to see it go to a good match for Ross! He's a Lawyer by day but works from home at times and is also a great DJ so no shortage of good music knocking about. He's very easy to live with. It is not a regular party flat but it is great for the occasional gathering especially in the summer as the outdoor balcony can accommodate around 30 or so people! The neighbours are also really friendly and the building offers a proper community feel.
