We are looking for someone to take over the lease on our fantastic 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom top floor duplex apartment in UNCLE Deptford from mid-January until March 31 2026.
We are the first occupants of this brand-new apartment which we moved into in March 2025. Downstairs comprises an entry porch, living area / kitchen, toilet, understairs cupboard and laundry cupboard. Upstairs is a front bedroom overlooking Deptford Park, family bathroom with shower over bath, second rear facing bedroom with large ensuite shower room. Outside is a large private terrace and views to central London of The Shard, The Gherkin, St Pauls and as far as the London Eye.
The apartment is furnished and includes oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer / dryer. There is underfloor heating throughout the apartment, and heated towel rails in the bathroom. We kitted out the apartment in March with kitchen / dining / cooking equipment, linen, Smart TV, cleaning equipment including a cordless vacuum, and even a cocktail trolley. We are willing to include all of this as part of the lease takeover.
The UNCLE Deptford complex has an internal courtyard garden, cycle storage, comprehensive co-working space, meeting room, soundproofed call booths and a large lounge / dining space with cooking facilities that can be booked for private parties. The complex is a 15 minute-walk to Deptford High Street and Deptford National Rail station. Surrey Quays Windrush Overground station is a 15 minute-walk or 5 minutes on the bus. Canada Water on the Jubilee line is a 20-minute walk or 10-minute bus. The Deptford Park School and Deptford Fire Station bus stops for 188, 199 and 47 buses are just outside. It is 5-minute walk to the Thames, and Surrey Quays Thames Clipper stop is a 15-minute walk. Bermondsey Lidl is less than a 10-minute walk and Surrey Quays Tesco Extra is a 15-minute walk. There are loads of good restaurants and bars within walking distance including the award winning Dog & Bell pub. Greenwich is a 25-minute walk or 10-minute bus.

Ideally, we would like for the lease to be taken over from Monday 19 January 2026 until the end of the lease on March 31, 2026. However, we would consider someone who wanted to take it from Feb 1. We are long term travellers and find ourselves ready to get back on the road. We paid for the full twelve months lease up front so to take it over, you would need to pay the rent for your stay plus the refundable bond of £2798.
