Double room in Deptford/New Cross

A bright, comfortable double room is available in my house on Florence Road, SE14 6QL, from 1 March 2026. I am looking for an initial term of 3 months, rolling monthly after that.

The Room & House

- Furnished double room in a friendly 2‑bed flat
- Shared living room (there is a living room desk if you WFH)
- Fast Wi‑Fi, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine etc.
- Rent is £685 pcm + bills (usually around £150 per month)
- Plenty of storage
- Off-road parking available if desired

Who you’d be living with

You’d be sharing with one easy‑going, considerate professional (me) who remote-works from my bedroom during the week. You will be replacing the current tenant and are welcome to use the desk in the living room for working from home as they have done.

What I’m looking for

- Likely works during the week, although open to e. g. post-grad student
- Social at weekends but relaxed and tidy at home
- Vegetarian or veg‑friendly gets bonus points
- Respectful, communicative and happy to muck in with keeping house clean and tidy

Location

Florence Road is in a great spot between New Cross & Deptford, close to local shops, cafes, pubs and good transport links into central London – ideal for an easy commute and a laid‑back home base. You can get to London Bridge in 15 mins.
