Double bedroom in 3 bed all girls house

Our flatmate is moving so we have a room going in our cosy house in New Cross / Deptford!

You’d be living with me (f, 31) and Ellie (f, 27), Ellie has been here 5 years and me 1 and a half and have really made it a home. I work in music and normally go into the office 2/3 times a week & Ellie is a creative and training to be an art teacher. We both really enjoy hanging out and will often watch tv together in the evening or head to the pub, but we also have our own things going on too. This isn’t a party house, as we work 9-5 we tend to have chill weeknights, but we do love hosting friends for dinner every now and again on the weekends and for birthdays etc!

The house itself is on Amersham Vale, and is a 2 minute walk from New Cross station which has great connections (4 mins to London Bridge and 15 mins to Shoreditch) we’re also in walking distance of Deptford station (5 mins) and New Cross Gate (6/7 mins).

The room is a small double and comes with a double bed and wardrobe. It’s pretty cosy but, you could also fit a small desk in there next to the bed if you needed one. We have x3 big storage cupboards in the hallway downstairs so you’d also get one of those as well as access to the shed, to store any extra bits.

We have a really cosy living room and a nice kitchen / diner as well as a decent sized garden. It’s a little untidy right now but we are in the process of getting it ready for summer, we often have bbqs over the warmer months!

Rent for the room is £667+bills which are around £123 per month (this includes water, electric, gas, internet, council tax and a kitty for house things like loo roll, cleaning suppliers etc).

Ideally we’re looking for another female aged 25-30 who has similar interests and wants to make a house, a home! (we rent the house as a whole, not individual rooms) You’d need to go through referencing and be able to pay a deposit. We're looking for someone who is a working professional (no students sorry), ideally also working either in the office or hybrid (the room is probably too small to be working full time remote / at home 5 days a week).

Move in date would be 20th May, potentially some flexibility to move in a week or so earlier but would need to discuss.
