SE8 Large Double Room: July/August Queer Sublet

Hiya! I'm looking to sublet my room while I'm away between July and August. If you're looking for somewhere quiet and spacious with good transport links (and two lovely queer housemates) this could be your 🫵 place. Ok, key stats first!

🗓️Dates: 20th July → August 18th.

While there is some flexibility on these dates, I'm looking for a minimum 3-week stay to minimise disruption to my flatmates.

👛 Price: £195 per week, bills included. £100 (refundable) damage deposit.

📍Location: SE8. Nearest stations are St John's (Rail), Deptford Bridge (DLR) and New Cross (Overground).

🚪Access: The flat is up 4 flights of stairs, and once inside there is one large step down into the kitchen.

🪟 The Room: Large furnished room featuring a desk, ample storage space and a double bed. Wooden floors and good natural light (south-facing window).

🛋️ Rest of the Flat: Shared kitchen, bathroom (new shower) and large living/dining room. Indoor bike storage downstairs.

🍃 Area: Located in a very quiet, leafy area. There is a gorgeous park <1 minute walk away and we are blessed with lovely neighbours. Close to everything you could ever need: Big ASDA, Wavelengths Pool, plus the many pubs, cafés, markets and restaurants of Deptford.

💚 Flatmates: Two lovely flatmates who are good friends in their late 20s. One is a PhD student and the other works in immigration support. Both work from home (in our living room) ~2-3 days per week. We are definitely not a party flat, more of an occasional dinner party/film club flat. You can expect friends and partners over a couple of times a week, but our home is generally a chilled-out, restful space to unwind from busy London life. 11pm bedtime vibes in the week, weekend not so much. We like to cook for each other, but there is no pressure to do this unless you fancy it!

✨ About you: Kind, clean, mature, all-round good egg. Comfortable in a progressive, LGBTQ+ household. Not a tory, terf, zio ect. Happy to keep noise low after 11pm on weekdays. Willing to pitch in with chores and cleaning. Non-smoker (outside is fine, just not inside). No pets (allergies). No couples, sorry.

👀 Viewings: So far we are doing viewings 6th June (9-11am) and 7th June (5-7pm). We are also happy to arrange online viewings, though in-person is preferred.
