Double room available in lovely Deptford flat

My flatmate Maria and I are looking for a new flatmate to join us in our lovely flat in Deptford from 1st July 2026.

The flat is situated on a quiet residential street in a leafy area, just 10 minutes walk away from Greenwich centre. It’s a 5 minute walk to Deptford Creekside (Tesco, Sainsbury's and a big Waitrose further down the road). Both Greenwich DLR and Deptford stations are a 9 min walk away so it's ideal for commuting with London Bridge being an 8 minute train journey.

The flat is spacious and in excellent condition, with a nice living room and a balcony with enough space for a table and chairs, overlooking a large green (it's very quiet and peaceful- gorgeous in the spring and summer months). There is also a shared seperate bath/ shower and toilet. The modern kitchen has ample storage and cupboard space with a fridge/freezer, washing machine and electric hob and oven. There is also residential parking available outside of the flat. The flat is managed privately through Open Rent.

The available room is a double with lots of storage (a cupboard with shelves, plus an overhead cupboard and two open wardrobe spaces). Please note that the bedroom does not have a bed frame or mattress so is offered part furnished (pls ignore the mattress in the photo as this won’t be offered with the room).

Total rent pcm is £850. Bills are not included and total up to around £160 each per month. References will be required along with a security deposit equivalent to 5 weeks of rent. I can’t input the deposit amount on here for some reason but it comes to £1062.50.

We are looking for a clean, chill and respectful housemate who is in full time employment. Both of us like hanging out and watching tv together but also totally respect personal space and enjoy alone time. We are a cat friendly flat!

A bit about us! I am 26 and work full time as an Office Administrator and write, direct and produce theatre. I love yoga, cooking and baking, and am an avid reader! Maria is 30 and is an NHS Physiotherapist and also enjoys yoga, going out and watching tv.
