Beautiful bright furnished room with wooden floors in Deptford, available from mid September.

We're a queer house of people in our late twenties and mid-thirties looking for a cutie to replace our lovely flatmate who is sadly moving to Italy!

The flat has a gorgeous big kitchen which is great if you like cooking as much as us. We’ve got a big bright living room which is fab for working from home a few days a week if you need - both housemates do it a few days a week. We’re looking for someone with a similar schedule to us - working during the daytimes and socialising across evenings and weekends.

There’s indoor bike storage downstairs, and some other areas for more storage of your things if you need.

Accessibility:


The flat is on the second floor, up three flights of stairs, and there are no lifts. There’s one large step down into the kitchen but the bathroom is on the same level as the bedrooms and living room, with enough space for a wheelchair. The front door uses two keys at different levels and there is a small step up to the front door. There is no security or concierge, and we do not have a garden or balcony. Pets are not allowed due to current housemate allergies but the house is very neurodivergent friendly as we are all neurospicy!

About us:


The two housemates living here are Pearl (they/them) who is a trainee Occupational Therapist and loves plants, saunas, live music and community projects, and Hannah (she/her) who works in immigration support and loves film photography, cooking / food history & hiking.

We’re a cosy, chill household and are looking for a flatmate who is community-minded and wants to invest in co-creating a home with us. We cook for each other quite regularly and buy communal things for the house. We both value a clean space with a weekly rota to share the labour and responsibilities.

We are definitely not a party flat, more of an occasional dinner party/film club flat (we've been hosting a monthly dvd club thanks to the amazing selection at deptford library). You can expect friends and partners over a couple of times a week, but our home is generally a chilled-out, restful space to unwind from busy London life (11pm bedtime vibes in the week, weekend not so much).

Transport:
We’re a 5 minute walk to St John’s (Thameslink), 8 mins to Deptford Bridge (DLR) and about 15 mins to New Cross Overground and Deptford (Thameslink), so it’s super well connected, but still really peaceful and quiet.
