Bright double room with London views – from 01/11

I'm looking for someone to take over my current flatmate's room from 1st November, as she's relocating to Prague for work.

The flat is a lovely modern 2-bed and we're up on the 16th floor, so the room has loads of natural light and some pretty amazing views across London and the Thames – genuinely one of my favourite things about the flat!

The room 🛏️

It's a good-sized double bedroom with:

- Large built-in wardrobe with loads of storage
- Double bed with under-bed storage
- Large windows with incredible views across London
- Plenty of natural light

The flat itself has an open-plan kitchen/living space, so I'm ideally looking for someone who actually wants a friendly, sociable home rather than us just being two people who happen to live in the same flat.

Bills 💷

Bills are approximately £150pp per month, based on two people sharing. This includes energy, Wi-Fi and Council Tax (Lewisham Band C). Water is billed separately by the landlord, so this will be additional.

A little about me 👋

I'm 30 and work full-time in logistics. I'm pretty sociable and like being able to come home, have a chat, cook/watch TV together occasionally or have a glass of wine, but equally very much appreciate having our own space and doing our own thing.

I'm active and usually have something going on during the week/weekends, so I'm definitely not looking to live in each other's pockets – just someone I genuinely get along with and can feel comfortable sharing a home with.

I'd ideally like someone around a similar age/life stage who is friendly, clean, considerate and sociable, and who wants the flat to actually feel like home. Friends/partners visiting is absolutely fine, I only ask that we keep good comms – just looking for someone respectful of the shared space and each other.

Move-in & referencing 📅

The room will be available from 1st November 2026.

I'm advertising earlier than usual because my current flatmate is moving abroad for a new job. As our current tenancy requires two months' notice if I don't find a replacement, there's unfortunately quite a tight turnaround for me to establish whether someone suitable can take over the room.

The new tenant will need to pass the landlord's usual referencing/vetting process, so I'm looking for someone who can genuinely commit to a 1st November move-in once we've both decided it's a good fit.

- Wednesday 19th August – from 6pm
- Thursday 20th August – from 6pm
- Friday 21st August – 12pm–3pm
- Monday 24th August – 12pm–3pm or from 6pm
- Tuesday 25th August – from 6pm
- Wednesday 26th August – from 6pm
- Friday 28th August – from 5pm

I appreciate this is quite early for a November move, however, if you're in a position to commit to a 1st November move-in and think we'd be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you.
