Double Room, homey home, Devons Road-Canary Wharf

Hello,

Sadly, one of our flatmates is moving out after 2 years with us, and we are looking for one more person to join our home from 2nd January 2026. :)

The house sits in the well-connected Devons Road:
- 5 min walk to Devons Road DLR station
- 10 min walk to Langdon Park
- 10 min to Canary Wharf
- 10 mins to Stratford

This is a double room for single use(£975 pcm - no agency fees), fully furnished with:

A good size double bed
2 x Chest of drawers
1 x large wardrobe
1 x desk
1 x office chair
1 x portable heater

The room is very bright and cozy, window looking to Canary Wharf / building green areas, which makes it a quiet space to relax and enjoy some quality time.

The house is very quiet, in a residential building block with very little traffic.
Sound insulation with the neighbours is great.

The bathroom will be shared with one more person only. We have an open-planned spacious kitchen for our daily feasts, large living room with comfy sofas, tv and projector, all connecting to the main balcony , perfect for lazy summer afternoons.

We are professionals working locally / in the city, enjoying a bit of outings, as well as a glass of wine (or two) on the sofa, binging on Netflix and playing board games !

Our lives are made much easier with a Tesco Express just opposite to the building and an off licence 2 mins walk from the flat. There are a few coffee shops and take away places within 2 minutes walk form the flat as well as a private gym on the building's ground floor.

We also have the Pure Gym and the Better sports centre 15 mins walk away if you are an active person. Mile End climbing wall is our new favourite.

Ideally, we would like a professional with a good sense of humour. Must be down to earth, descent communicator and capable of household responsibilities, having her own privacy as much as she respect ours but also up to come together for common meals, a BBQ or a film night from time to time and care about our home as we did in the past 2 years.

We would love someone who gets involved and brings something to the table. So please reply with something about yourself.

We are arranging viewings, from 6.30 pm on weekdays, and any time on weekends.
