Hello ... I have a bright double room with its own bathroom and river views to let to a professional seeking a temporary or permanent home.

The flat is in a modern and friendly development. It is just a short walk from King George V & Gallions Reach DLR stations. This flat is ideal for anyone working in Canary Wharf.

The apartment overlooks the river from all rooms. The open plan living room and balcony have stunning views. It is a great place to chill out, relax, unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of living in a big city, but has the convenience of being able to get into the city quickly.

Because the flat faces South East we get magnificent sunrises, good sun throughout the day, which means a warm flat in winter and a chance to enjoy the sun on the balcony in summer.

-- NEW FLAT MATE: WHAT I'M LOOKIN FOR --

It is essential that any applicant is a non-smoker, is neat, tidy, considerate, mature, with a relaxed and easy-going nature. A respectful and relaxed atmosphere in the flat is essential.

I work from home, so ideally I am looking for a flat mate who does not work from home, to avoid getting on top of each other. I travel a lot with work and on weekends, so there will be a lot of times/weekends that you will have the flat to yourself. There is the option of having a desk in the room should you need to work from home a couple of days a week.

Additionally, any applicant would have to be ok with a small dog as I have a cute and extremely well trained fur baby - Bichon Frise x hypoallergenic and non-malting breed. She is only in the flat half the week as the other half of the week she is away with me.

I'm Australian, friendly and adventurous. I have been living in this flat for a long time. I just love this area - having space, parks, views and being able to get into town easily. I have been so lucky with flat mates in the past. My last flat mate (male/ex-army) was with me for 4 years (before buying his own flat). Before that was my best friend (female) for 2 years. And before that was LGBTQ (male) for 2 years. I travel a lot for work and also in my spare time, so I am only home half of the time.

I love music, movies, travel (city breaks, festivals and camping adventures), walking & outdoor adventures, eating, reading and the odd glass of vino. I'm active and very busy with work. In my spare time I produce music (not that I seem to have much spare time).

I like to have a relaxing environment in the flat and love soaking up the beautiful river views. I am very respectful of other peoples privacy and also open to sharing a meal or drink with a spot of Netflix in the evening.

I am not a professional landlord or an agency and don't require any agency or registration fees. You only pay rent and deposit.

-- ABOUT THE DOG --

Bailey is a Bichon Frise x Pomeranian = Scruffy teddy bear. She is a hypoallergenic/non-malting breed, so you won't find hair around the flat or on your clothes! She is extremely well trained and very friendly. She will always be happy to see you and roll over for a belly rub. She has the ability to make you smile no matter how rough your day has been. She is very quiet (not yappy or barky) and sits by my feet while I work. She would not be allowed into your room unless you invite her in. She spends half of the week at my partners, and you will never be asked to babysit ... but if you really love animals I won't turn down the offer.

I am open to a flat mate that has a pet/dog (preferably a non malting breed like Bichon or Poodle cross).
