Urgent: 2 Bed 2 Bath - Couple Buddy Up

URGENT: seeking a couple to buddy up with for a 2 bed 2 bathroom flat in Docklands due to last minute drop out.

My partner and I are urgently seeking a couple to buddy up with for a really beautiful flat in the Docklands (E16) with 2 big bedrooms (1 with ensuite) and 2 bathrooms (including the ensuite). Beautiful panoramic views of the water, lots of space and sunlight, and close to Custom House station, the Docklands light rail and Canning Town station (for travel into central London). Rent is £2250 pcm, divided by 2 couples it would be £1125 per couple (roughly £562.5 per month per person which is a really great deal).

My partner is 32 and works full-time in the tech industry. I am 24 and currently undertaking a Master’s degree at LSE. I am an Australian qualified lawyer and we both recently moved over here from Sydney, Australia for my postgraduate studies.

We had originally planned to move in with another couple however their living situation and personal circumstances have suddenly changed, so we are urgently seeking another couple to buddy up with as we really don’t want to lose out on this property. We have progressed to the final stages of the application and are expecting to hear back from the agent on Monday on whether we are approved, in which case we will need to put forward the deposit (5 weeks’ rent) and first months’ rent within 3 hours of approval.
