Spacious en-suite room available in the Docklands!
I am looking for someone to takeover my part of the contract as I am moving back home. It's a really lovely house, and you would be sharing with three young guys in their early 20s, two professionals on grad schemes in finance, and one soon to be lawyer. Preference is for the new person to be not just a housemate but a friend!
If you're interested, please feel free to DM, we can call/facetime and/or I can send you more photos of the place. Am keen to have meet ups next week, so that those interested can view the house in real life, as well as meet the housemates.
- Room is part of a townhouse (yes we have the whole house!), which is very spacious and high ceilings. Includes separate dining room, kitchen, living room, shared garden which is maintained by the development, private terrace (please see pics). Washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, airfryer etc! The sofa turns into a massive sofa bed as well, so it’s a great place if you want to host friends etc :)
- Large en-suite room with king size bed, standalone shower. On the second (and highest) floor of the house so very quiet
- In a residential area, with DLR links: 5 min walk to the station; 22 mins to Bank; 15 mins to Stratford.
- Closest tube is Jubilee line, Canning Town station. You can also walk to Custom House Elizabeth line in 20 mins.
- Amenities: free gym (with new equipment, pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna); 24/7 concierge; security guards; post room; food vans every day; people who take the bin out for us etc!
- Sainbury’s local 30 secs walk away, big tesco in Woolwich and big morrisons and lidl in Canning Town by DLR
- Contract is until September. But, as landlord is trying to sell, we have a periodic contract, which means if your plans change etc, then you only have to give a month's notice
- It is a furnished room (double wardrobe, bedside table, king bed, chest of drawers), but there will be no desk.
I am very keen to move out as soon as possible, so move-in dates are flexible!
