Peaceful double room green oasis near Canary Wharf

Hello and welcome to my beautiful, peaceful, comfortable and yes “cosy”, as the agents like to say, apartment near the river at Island Gardens on the Isle of Dogs.

The dog can be excluded from your room when you’re here but is definitely included in the apartment. He is my daily joy (and he doesn’t shed a single hair 🤩!) but he had a very bad start in life and he will take your first few weeks of being here to get used to you: until then he may be annoying and barky for a while - sorry. It will wear off and then he’s adorable.

The apartment has 2 double bedrooms, a shared bathroom and living room/kitchen: I’ll get photos of the rest up asap. There’s a lot of antique wood furniture and original art around the place.

I’m your only flatmate: I work in PR in Parliament, I like music and conversation, I also like a lot of quiet time. I'm up for sharing dinner sometimes, or just doing our own thing.

I don’t have a TV but I do have fast broadband, there’s a BIG table and L shaped sofa in the living room, and everything you need to cook.

I try to minimise plastic (eg filtered not bottled water, reusable bags, glass and metal packaging wherever possible), I eat seafood but not meat and it’s important to me to have “high welfare” animal products in the house if at all (free range/organic).

I will get more photos up asap - I just wanted to get this out there and see who’s interested.
